The Haskayne Consulting Club (HCC) was founded in the summer of 2016 by a group of ambitious students passionate about providing real-life consulting experience to University of Calgary students. The founders of the HCC, recognizing a need for more student opportunities to gain knowledge and experience in consulting, began providing members networking opportunities with various consulting firms through case interview workshops, events, and competitions to unlock student potential. Since its inception, many HCC alumni have pursued full-time careers in consulting across various firms.
Four years later, the HCC now has over 300+ members across all faculties and various partnerships with consulting firms. Our members participate in pro bono consulting engagements and internships with local businesses and non-profit organizations, allowing them to apply classroom knowledge and accelerate their careers. As consulting is multidisciplinary, the HCC strives to provide opportunities for members of all backgrounds. With a new slate of events for STEAM students, the HCC aims to present innovative initiatives for years to come. The HCC is constantly offering a line-up of new initiatives to stay up-to-date with the industry.
